Footie Elite DMV
Terms, Waiver & Refund Policy
Effective July 9, 2026.
1. Program agreement and guardian consent
These terms apply to Footie Elite DMV youth soccer programs in Maryland. By reserving a trial or paying for a program, the parent or legal guardian confirms authority to enroll the participant, provides accurate registration information, and agrees to these terms for themselves and the participant.
Programs, locations, dates, coaches, group composition, and schedules may change when reasonably necessary for safety, weather, facility availability, or operations. We will provide reasonable notice and offer an appropriate alternative when practical.
2. Assumption of risk, release, and emergency care authorization
Soccer and related activities involve foreseeable risks, including falls, collisions, contact with equipment or surfaces, weather exposure, and injury. The guardian understands and voluntarily accepts these ordinary risks to the extent permitted by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by Maryland law, the guardian releases Footie Elite, its owners, employees, coaches, contractors, volunteers, and agents from claims arising from ordinary risks and ordinary negligence connected with program participation. This release does not apply to gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or rights that cannot legally be waived.
In an emergency, the guardian authorizes Footie Elite personnel to provide reasonable first aid and seek emergency medical care when the guardian cannot be reached. The guardian remains responsible for medical costs not covered by insurance.
3. Health, conduct, supervision, and safeguarding
Guardians must disclose relevant allergies, medical conditions, physical limitations, and emergency contacts, and promptly update us if that information changes. Children showing symptoms of a contagious illness should not attend. We may require a visibly unwell participant to leave for the safety of the group.
Participants and guardians must follow reasonable coach and facility safety instructions and treat others respectfully. Bullying, harassment, deliberate aggression, abusive conduct, or behavior creating a safety risk may result in removal from an activity or program without refund where permitted by law.
Guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pick-up and must remain available during the session. Footie Elite is responsible for program supervision only during the scheduled session. Coaches use only open, age-appropriate, instructional or safety-related physical contact; concerns may be reported to info@footie-elite.com.
4. Weather, attendance, schedules, and transfers
Sessions ordinarily proceed in mild weather. The on-site coach has final authority to modify, suspend, or cancel a session for field or weather safety. Lightning or thunder requires immediate suspension; a session may resume only after 30 consecutive minutes without lightning or thunder. We will notify affected families as promptly as practical and make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative or makeup session when appropriate.
Missed sessions caused by a participant's absence, illness, scheduling conflict, or loss of interest are not refundable. One makeup session per season may be offered, subject to capacity, timely notice, and scheduling availability. Transfers between session times or locations are subject to availability and approval; a coach substitution is not grounds for a refund.
5. Fees, cancellation, and refunds
All displayed prices are in U.S. dollars. The current six-week season price is $240, plus any applicable tax displayed before payment. Any trial fee is displayed and paid online at checkout. Trials are limited to one reservation per family email and are subject to capacity.
A guardian may cancel in writing at info@footie-elite.com before the first session for a refund of amounts paid less a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the program price. After the program begins, any refund is based on the value of undelivered sessions less 10% of that remaining value. No refund is issued for sessions already delivered. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 15 business days.
If Footie Elite cancels a paid program and cannot offer a suitable alternative, we will refund amounts paid for undelivered sessions. This policy does not limit rights required by law.
6. Camps and merchandise
Any camp deposit, cancellation deadline, or merchandise return policy shown at checkout applies to that purchase. Camp refunds and credits are governed by the displayed camp policy; merchandise is final sale except for an approved size exchange of an unworn item with tags, subject to availability.
7. Communications and media
We may send transactional messages about bookings, weather, safety, schedules, and payments. Marketing email or SMS requires the consent choices presented to you and may be withdrawn using the unsubscribe method in the message.
We will request separate permission before using an identifiable participant image or recording for promotional purposes. A guardian may withdraw media permission prospectively by emailing info@footie-elite.com; we will make reasonable efforts to honor the request, although incidental group footage already published may not be fully removable.
8. Privacy and personal information
We handle registration, contact, safety, and payment-related information as described in the DMV Privacy Notice. We do not sell personal information for money and honor applicable privacy rights and opt-out choices.
9. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these terms and will post the updated date here. These terms are governed by Maryland law and applicable United States law, without limiting consumer protections that apply to you. Questions or cancellation requests: info@footie-elite.com.
